Keith Reddins DESPERADOES has so much life and unpredictability to it. The show doesn't just tell the story of characters who are desperate to survive, it tells the story of their relationships, childhood, and need for escape. We all partake in escapism when dealing with adversity; the script directly reflects our shared humanity. In dire circumstances we are reminded of our mortality and what we are all capable of when left with no other options.
AS THE LAST TREE FALLS is a cautionary tale told through AURORA's song "The Seed".
The disruption of the systems in which we rely upon being the consequence of greed. The fragility of nature and the fury we are watching it unleash. The root of this piece derives from the myths and hymns in traditional pagan culture. Lots of inspiration was drawn from my time in martial arts and obsession with fantasy aesthetics that collide with religious symbolism .
